Storing magic Mushrooms

You have to make sure that you don’t crush the magic mushrooms before you store them. One thing that you have to watch out for is blue staining because it is a sign of oxidation of the two most potent ingredients (psilocin and psilocybin) so if there are blue stains then the mushrooms may lose potency. It would be suggested that you store magic mushrooms in the refrigerator but you have to know that you should not freeze fresh magic mushrooms because it could lead to them losing all potency because they become open for oxidation.

Storing Fresh Mushrooms
When you are storing fresh magic mushrooms you should make sure that they are being stored in a container which allows them to breathe still. You could put the mushrooms in a paper bag and put them in the refrigerator but you don’t want to put them in a Ziploc bag as it could lead to the mushrooms getting moldy and/or slimy. Some people also use other techniques like cutting up the mushrooms and mixing the mushrooms with honey and later on using the honey as a spread for toast when they plan on eating the mushrooms.

There are a lot of different methods for both fresh and dry magic mushrooms to be stored. A lot of people usually find that dry mushrooms will be a lot weaker than fresh mushrooms but you could dry mushrooms by putting the mushrooms on a cookie sheet (place in the oven) and heat it at the lowest possible temperature. You should leave the door for the oven open a little still but drying he mushrooms in the sunlight is also another basic method which works.
