Panaeolus Campanulatus (Mushrooms)

There are many types of mushrooms which are part of the panaeolus species and there are some of them that are considered to be magic mushrooms as well because they produce psychedelic effects when used in a potent dosage amount. However, panaeolus campanulatus is one of many types of mushrooms in this specie which cannot give you a high and is not considered a hallucinogen either. This particular type of mushroom is found regularly growing in cattle pasture and most commonly in horse manure. This type of mushroom will usually grow from the middle of the summer till the fall.

Potency
There is no psilocybin or psilocin found in panaeolus campanulatus mushrooms and many people have eaten hundreds of these mushrooms and not felt any psychedelic effects. There could be a small possibility that there is a little bit of psilocybin in some of these mushrooms but it is very unlikely. If the main goal of eating the mushrooms is to get high then you should look for a type which is actually considered to be a magic mushroom.

These mushrooms are safe to eat but they will not give you a high so they aren’t worth bothering with. If you identify a species as this particular type of mushroom when you are observing a mushroom then you might as well toss it unless you really want to eat it just because it’s a mushroom. You can pretty much guarantee yourself that you will not get high or feel any psychedelic effects from eating panaeolus campanulatus mushrooms because they are not even a type of hallucinogen drug.
