Importance of a Sterile Growing Environment

The most important thing which can affect how your magic mushrooms turn out when you grow them is the sterility of the environment. As long as the climate is perfect in the environment then all you have to worry about is keeping it sterile. Magic mushrooms are typically grown on cow dung so you may think that it’s not really that clean but a lot of magic mushrooms, like the home magic mushroom kits, are grown on rich soil.

Cow Dung
Naturally there are about 17 billion spores of different types of mushrooms across the world. Those who have been involved around cow dung or the mushroom field would probably already know that most mushrooms grown on cow dung do not contain psilocybes and will not be worthy of being used as a drug and obviously won’t be used as food.

There is a lot of cow dung around in the pasture industry so even if it’s just a small percentage of mushrooms which hold psychedelic affects it is still enough to rely on. It is important that the growing environment is pretty clean but it’s mostly a concern if you are growing the magic mushrooms at home. If that is the case then you should be careful and make sure that you don’t contaminate the mushrooms by touching them with your bare hands that have not been watched when you are harvesting them.
