Panaeolina Foenisecii (Mushrooms)

There are endless amounts of species of mushrooms and not all of them are actually potent. Only some mushrooms can give you the psychedelic effects that are found in magic mushrooms and various other hallucinogens. If you are going to observe wild mushrooms to determine if they are wild then you have to figure out which ones are actually considered to be magic mushrooms. Panaeolina foenisecii is a species of magic mushrooms which can be found regularly on lawns and fields but it does not grow on dung. Panaeolina will usually grow around the middle of the summer and up until the very start of the winter and the species is literally found all over the place and is regularly found with other Panaelus species.

Potency
This particular mushroom is not the best to use in order to get high. You will notice some psychedelic effects but the amount of psilocybin in the mushroom is really low and some of these mushrooms don’t contain any psilocybin at all. The taste of this particular mushroom is also very disturbing and no one will enjoy it so it’s suggested that you at least drink it in tea. You could get high from this type of mushroom but it won’t be the strongest high possible because there are a lot of more potent magic mushrooms available.

If you know for a fact that the mushrooms you found outside are Panaeolina foenisecii then you might as well use them because you will still get high and they are obviously free. If you are not 100% sure what species or specific type of magic mushroom they are then you shouldn’t risk eating them because you could be putting your health at risk. .
