Not all wild mushrooms are going to be magic mushrooms and some won’t have the psychedelic effects when they are consumed. You will have to figure out if you can identify it or not right there. If you can’t properly identify it then you should place one mushroom from every species into a separate container to review it later on when you get back home.

Identifying the wild mushrooms can be difficult but the Internet can help you out a lot to figure out the exact species. There are many pictures online which will make it very easy for you to compare the mushrooms you found to other common species. You can also find out the average measurements of various areas of the mushroom like the cap and the stem and the different colorings and patterns. Just make sure that you are observant when looking for wild mushrooms and you are effective when you identify them so you only use magic mushrooms that are safe to eat.
