End of the Magic Mushroom Trip

Magic mushroom trips usually last for quite a while. The high begins after about ten to twenty minutes of eating the magic mushrooms and can hit a climax after around two hours. However, the high doesn’t actually completely go away for quite a while. Once you get to the end of the magic mushroom trip it will be as much as six hours or so from when you ate the mushrooms that it will occur. There will still be some noticeable psychedelic effects from the high but they will not be as strong.

Symptoms
Some of the symptoms which occur when your magic mushroom trip is just about to end would include you feeling drowsy, hungry, thirsty, and have a strong grasp on reality. You will no longer be on a mental vacation where you are being tricked by the hallucinogen effects that magic mushrooms cause. It would not be a surprise if you easily fell asleep around the sixth hour of the high and the majority of the psychedelic effects have gone away.

There will likely still be some minor effects around the six hour mark of the magic mushroom trip but there won’t be anything too severe. The high is not completely over though as there will still be some psychedelic effects from the magic mushroom trip that occur after the six hour mark is passed. They will probably go unnoticed though because it is likely that you have fallen asleep by this point as you really do get pretty drowsy once the magic mushroom trip reaches this part of the journey.
