Are Wild Mushrooms Dangerous

If you are thinking about eating wild mushrooms then you may want to be careful. There are going to be some mushrooms out in the wild that are dangerous. There are many different families and species of mushrooms so it is difficult to know if the type you discover is safe to eat or not. It’s also going to be difficult to know if they are magic mushrooms or not. Not all types of mushrooms will get you high and produce the psychedelic effects that you get from magic mushrooms. there are some mushrooms which are only able to be used as food and some that shouldn’t be consumed at all.

Poisonous Mushrooms

There are some mushrooms out there which are poisonous. Some of these may even look exactly like other types of mushrooms which are safe to eat. The lookalikes are very dangerous because you might get tricked into eating them because you think they are a different type of mushroom when they are not. There are also a few types of mushrooms which are toxic and some could be fatal in certain cases. There have not really been any reported cases of dying from eating wild mushrooms except one of a young boy who consumed some toxic mushrooms and died from it.

It’s important that you keep yourself safe and eating something without knowing what it is would not be a good idea at all. If you can properly identify the wild mushroom and know it is safe to eat then you can consume it but if not don’t expect it to be a hallucinogen which is safe to eat without actually knowing what it is.
